-Volume III-"Hey, do you remember-"There are some things we always look back on fondly: vactions with loved ones, watching young ones grow into their own person, seeing the evolution of our companions as they grow past their oversized paws or extra lil ears, and especially the holidays we spend!For this volume, we want to take a look at some of your happy memories with your Pokémon! Maybe it was a particularly snowy Winter you braved, your trainer finding their first Pokéballs under the Christmas tree, or whatever story you want to illustrate with your favorite Pokémon!As a special bonus, we also want to include a "scrapbook page" of some of our contributor's previous work: We want to see how you've grown and see some of your happy memories with your Pokémon too!For Vol III, we're looking back, and moving forward! We hope you enjoy!

-Volume II-Sugar, spice, and everything nice...about Holiday Food! Honey glazed ham, frosted sugar cookies, and your grandmother's secret mulled cider recipe, we all have our favorite foods we associate to the holidays. Whether traditional or unique to you, we'd love to showcase it! With, of course, your favorite Pokémon in tow!This volume of Winter Wonderland will be focused on art, stories, and recipes that are apart of the way people celebrate this time of year, and celebrating the love, connection, and joy that food brings to the holiday season. From making cookies for Santa, noodles that symbolize health and longevity, special meals created to honor God or Gods above, to the nostalgia of going through tattered and well loved recipe cards, everyone has something unique to them and their friends and family that they can bring to the zine. This love will be shared with Pokémon, the characters we seen, and the ones we've created, and we hope you and your favorite mons will join us for the fun!This will be our second year with Winter Wonderland, and we would love to see it go on for many more years to come!We hope you enjoy Vol II~!-

• Vol II Zine & Merch

-Volume I-A Pokémon Zine for the magical and glittering Holiday and Winter season. Sweet silver bells, lit manorahs, wreaths adorn and yule logs ablaze, anything and everything you and your Pokémon love about this time of year!This is a zine focused on celebration, no matter what it is you celebrate, if anything at all! From Christmas to Kwanza, Yule to Hanukkah, or just the joy of sitting by the fire and watching the snow fall, this will be a collaboration of all the joys that these artists and writers find within themselves, their families, and of course, their Pokémon! And, everything goes in this zine! OCs, ships, any characters from any region!This is also, hopefully, going to be a non-traditional style of zine, in that I would love to see this go beyond the single years that zines typically run. I would love to see artists, new and old, add their joys and celebrations to many volumes of Winter Wonderland to come. And, in that, I would love to expand what we can offer! And get charity sales involved later as well!-

What is a fanzine?
A fanzine is a collaborative effort between fans of a certain franchise, series, or fandom, to compile artwork, writing, and more into either a physical or digital booklet.Is there a cost for the zine?
This will be a free release zine! Should we decide later down the line that we are willing, or able, to have it be purchased, we will have the funds go towards a charity of choice, TBD.What is the rating of this zine?
This will be a family friendly, SFW zine!Who will be allowed to participate?
Contributors must be 18+ to apply, but artists and writers of any skill level are free to apply! Artists of non-digital media are also allowed to apply, so long as they can have their pieces fit within specifications. You can find more on that in the Guidelines.How will artists and writers be compensated?
All artists and writers will receive their own digital copy of the zine. Should any sales be made for the zine, all proceeds will go to a charity, TBD.Will this be focused on just one Holiday/Christmas?
Not at all! This will be focused on whatever Holiday the artists hold dear, if any!What kind of Pokémon and characters will be allowed? What about ships?
With the exception of Fakémon, all characters, OCs, and Pokémon will be allowed, so long as they are in scenes that fit with the zine. Ships are also free game! We just ask that all characters be 18+!Will contributors need social media to participate?
They will only be required to have a discord, as that will be the main point of contact. If they have nothing else beyond that, that's okay!How many pieces can I submit for the zine? Are artists allowed to collaborate?
We will accept two contributions total from each person, either art or writing. Spot art will not count towards this number. We will also accept each artist and writer making a "scrapbook" page for themselves where they can highlight previous works, either from previous volumes or other projects. We ask that these stay on theme, and we will be moderating those pages.

Artists will have the opportunity to collaborate with the writers to create spot art for their pieces and further help bring their stories to life! As for artists collaborating with one and other, we will not be offering that at this time.Can contributors apply for more than one role?
They may, but they may not be accepted to each role applied for.Will Mods be allowed to contribute?
Absolutely! And I'd love for my mods to participate!What happens when the zine project ends?
All contributors will retain full ownership of their pieces, and are free to post their own pieces wherever they wish AFTER the mods conclude the end of the zine.

Zine Specs:• The zine will be in an 2550x3300 px (8.5x11 in), RGB digital format.•This zine will be focused on writing and illustration work.• We will be featuring as many artists and writers as we can!About the Zine:•This zine will be SFW and family friendly. If you wouldn't do it in front of family, it won't be allowed in the zine. Light romance, kissing, drinking, etc will be accepted. If you are worried at all about the content of your piece, please consult the mods.•This will be a no-chase zine. If you do not meet the timeframe for joining the discord, submitting pitches, or meeting your deadlines without letting the mods know, we will consider that as a resignation from the zine.•Artists and writers hold full rights to their piece once the zine concludes. We ask that zine pieces past the sketch phase/draft phase not be shared outside the zine's Discord. Breach of this rule will result in your exclusion from the zine.•While we are accepting of all skill levels for all art and writing, we do ask that your final pieces fit the standard set by the zine. That means having your artwork match the size required, and your end writing piece be properly edited and proofread.About the Application Process:•Accepted contributors must join the zine's Discord server. If you can not or will not join, you can not participate.•Plagiarism or use of AI in any form will not be tolerated in any shape or form. If you are caught doing this, you will be removed from the zine and barred from future entries.•Previous entries or published pieces can be used as ACCENT pieces for your scrapbook page. You will not be allowed an entire page for previous works.•We will require that any social media you share for your piece in the zine is SFW.•We ask that you submit at least two full colored illustrations in your application, and/or one finished writing piece, so we can best assess your potential entries.•Please ensure that any pieces you submit are accessible for the mods to view. If we can not see them, we will have to consider your application incomplete.•Mods will only be judging on the skill the artists show and the relevency of their pieces. Followers, mod association, or anything of that sort will not be considered in the acceptance of your contributor application.
